Lorie was elected to the RMQHA Show and Performance board in 2006. She and her sister began competing at RMQHA shows in barrel racing in 1990 and moved from there to showing in Novice Amateur classes. Over the years she has organized the Amateur Champion of Champions as well as numerous RMQHA Annual Conventions.
